We all love gardens. Some of us love to work in the garden, to create, to encourage and to reap. Others prefer to enjoy the beauty that has been created by others. Whatever the case, we all acknowledge that without God’s hand involved, all our efforts are useless.
This Sunday, July 22, the members of the Parish of Fundy and the Lakes will gather to dedicate this garden in memory of Mary Kellier.
Mary was one of our very dedicated parishioners whose contributions of time and talents greatly benefited our church. She is remembered with much love.
Please join us at 10:30 am this Sunday at the Church of Christ the King for a Dedication service as we honour her memory. We will share in Holy Communion, and then a time of fellowship and a “cup of tea”.
There will be many friends and many memories, and we would like to share them with you.
If the weather cooperates, you may even get the pleasure of walking the grounds to see the beauty that has been organized in her memory.
And if we are really blessed, Mary’s favorite flower will bloom just in time for the service.
Two days of warm temperatures and sunshine should bring these buds to full bloom.
I think the garden looks absolutely beautiful and Mary would have loved it: What a wonderful way to honour her memory 🙂
